Christmas markets near Woodbridge in 2026: Jimmy's Farm's free 100-stall fayre 14-15 Nov, Aldeburgh 21 Nov, Felixstowe and Southwold 28 Nov, Snape 22 Dec.

Five Christmas markets near Woodbridge have confirmed their 2026 dates, but Woodbridge’s own two have not. The biggest and earliest is Jimmy’s Farm’s free Christmas Fayre, with more than 100 stallholders, on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November. Aldeburgh’s free craft fair follows on Saturday 21 November. Felixstowe and Southwold both hold Christmas stalls with their switch-ons on Saturday 28 November, and Snape Maltings has its big Christmas farmers’ market on Tuesday 22 December. St Mary’s church market and the Woodbridge School market ran in late November and early December last year. Neither has a 2026 date yet, and this page will be updated when they do.

Jimmy’s Christmas Fayre, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November

Jimmy’s Farm at Wherstead, south of Ipswich, calls this “our biggest Fayre yet”. Its event page lists Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November, 9.30am to 5pm, with more than 100 stallholders from East Anglia, choirs, face painting and carousel rides. Entry and parking are free and dogs are welcome; tickets for the wildlife park are sold separately. A Friday 13 November evening, 4pm to 8pm, is for invited guests only. The farm is on Pannington Hall Lane, IP9 2AP.

Aldeburgh Christmas Craft Fair, Saturday 21 November

The Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall listing gives Saturday 21 November 2026, 10am to 2pm, free entry, run with Aldeburgh Town Council. It promises “fine Christmas crafts, fine Suffolk food and artisan produce”. The hall is on Crabbe Street, IP15 5BN, a few steps from the High Street. It falls a week before the switch-ons.

Felixstowe lights day, Saturday 28 November

The Lions Club of Felixstowe’s Christmas light up runs 12 noon to 6pm, with the lights going on at 5pm. The Lions list their barbecue, stalls, music and Santa’s Grotto. The stage programme is still marked “TBA”. Times, parking and the rest are on our Felixstowe Christmas lights switch-on page.

Southwold switch-on market, Saturday 28 November

Light Up Southwold’s stallholder listing on the Stall and Craft Collective sets out a 35-stall market on the High Street, IP18 6YA, from 2pm to 6pm, with admission £0. The organiser expects crafts, gifts and food. It says more than 3,000 people came last year. The switch-on time and parking are on our Southwold Christmas lights page.

Snape Maltings Christmas Farmers’ Market, Tuesday 22 December

Britten Pears Arts calls this its largest market of the year. It is held in a marquee on the Henry Moore lawn next to the Concert Hall at Snape Maltings, IP17 1SP, with artisan local food and drink, festive face painting and a craft activity for children. The market’s page is headed “Tuesday 22 December, 10am”, but the text says producers will be there “from 9.30am”. The organiser says further details will follow. The regular monthly market is next on Saturday 7 November.

Woodbridge: not yet announced

Both of Woodbridge’s own Christmas markets are annual, but neither had a 2026 date on 4 October.

  • St Mary’s Church Christmas Market, Market Hill, IP12 4LP. In 2025 it was on Saturday 29 November, 3pm for two hours, inside the church. It had craft stalls, wreaths, toys, cakes, mulled wine, a raffle, children’s activities and live music (St Mary’s on A Church Near You). The church’s 2026 events list has nothing yet.
  • Woodbridge School Christmas Market, The Dome, Burkitt Road, IP12 4JH. In 2025 it ran on Saturday 6 December, 11am to 2pm, with free entry. There were local artists and makers, Santa’s Grotto, Christmas trees to take home, and mulled wine and food (Woodbridge School). The school’s site has no 2026 market page yet.

Framlingham’s Christmas on the Hill has not been announced for 2026 either. The town council’s events page still shows its 2024 event, on Saturday 23 November, when heavy rain and wind forecasts called off most of the programme.
